This Montessori Counting Board is another great game for your young child! These boards are always introduced in our house as special games that we play 1:1 during quiet time. There are so many ways that this one can be made fun!
- Pair these with number flashcards, take turns picking a flashcard and added that number of balls to the correct box
- Tracing the number with the stylus to work on muscle memory for numbers
- Find little snacks (goldfish, popcorn, mini marshmallows, nuts, etc) and fill each number section with that number of snack pieces.
- Swap the wooden balls with colourful mini pom poms
